    “Every setback is an opportunity for a comeback.”

    This very quote exemplifies Angie’s philosophy in every work out I had with her over a period of 7 months.

    It is normal for most individuals to encounter plateaus or hurdles with their fitness regimens. I had been working out steadily for some time before I met Angie and my progress had hit a plateau. Having worked with other personal trainers, I can testify that Angie is among the best.

    Fitness training is definitely a vocation tailor made for Angie. She always came well prepared for training sessions and used her vast knowledge of fitness and nutrition to design individualized programs for her clients. She doesn’t do conventional exercises that most trainers use with their clients and she always puts her personal spin on things. For instance, when the weather was very agreeable for some of our sessions, Angie designed a calisthenics program for me to practise outdoors on hills.

    As a dentist, it was important for me to have a trainer whose training methods and fitness philosophy were consistent with my own goals. As a result of the nature of my work, injury prevention was prevalent in my thoughts and building up core strength was among my fitness goals as well. Angie consistently checked my posture and body movements during the circuit training. She taught me to breathe properly and paced me according to my ability. Her infectious enthusiasm and support helped me attain my goals. She trains not only the body but the mind as well.

    Angie is not simply one who preaches but practices what she preaches. She has consistently and successfully performed in body fitness competitions she has participated in. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone!
